Mayokun Awodumi la(May D) was born in Lagos, Nigeria to a family of seven (5 boys). A University of Lagos Mass Communication graduate, May D's romance with music started with him watching Micheal Jackson as a kid and later grew with his frequent mime performances while he was in King's College Lagos. May D is an interestingly talented singer and song writer and has been involved in different projects with various outstanding artists like Kel, Alaye, Dr. Frabz, P-Square, SDC and many others. He recently signed on to Square Records with Nigeria's biggest music duo- P-Square.
