Born in Nigeria into a muscially gifted family, Oloriegbe Emmanuel a.k.a. Ray Blaze, started singing in the local church choir at the tender age of 7. It didn't take long for people to discover the beautiful voice this your boy was gifted with. Being surrounded by inspiring musicians, and a supportive family stimulated him to use the experience he gained in the church choir to further explore his vocal skills. Not wanting to rush into anything, he took the time to aquire a very broad range of vocal abilities. He made music his life goal and started playing the drums with his little cousin, who - at this moment - is a multi-talented instrumentalist. When he was 16 he taught himself how to play the piano and started focusing even more on his first passion: singing. After finishing his college education in Nigeria he moved to Belgium in April 2005, to join his family. Realizing the gift of having a third octave high pitch range voice, he practiced on an advanced level for 3 years and then felt ready to blow up the industry with his unique style of writing, his fascinating melodies, harmonies and adlibs. Ray Blaze isn't anything near your average pop or r&b singer. His skills vary from gospel over r&b to soul, just to name a few. Collaborations The name Ray Blaze didn't stay a secret in the Belgian urban scene for long. Soon some of the industry's finest wanted to use this multi-talented artist and upgrade their music with his skills. Sandrine, Asaiah (C.E.O of Hot Track Ent.), J.R, Quick Talk, J.Rox, Noa (K2 zoekt K3), Lunaman, ... worked or still work with Ray Blaze, whether it was to write lyrics or music. Projects After spending most of his time working on other people's music, Ray Blaze is in the studio right now, finalizing his first album. He's taking it back to his roots, putting all of his talent, skills and experience to work. Upon the release of the much anticipated album, the urban scene will never be the same again.
