Kendo Swavey , whose Stage name goes by IB Kendo Naija aka IBK , was born in Osun State,Nigeria in Africa, He's from Okpe ,Sapele and Warri Delta State, also from Ossun State, Iwaro,and Illesa,Ikoyi. He started his singing career from the Kirk (Church馃拻) as a choir, later started playing drum, he proceed to join instrumentalist at Okirigque BBC (Blessed Baptist Church馃拻, Sapele, upgraded into learning how to play Piano (Keyboard 馃幑). From there , he endorsed himself in writing Gospel/worship songs, he gave the songs to other churches to use, he thought them how to sing it,until he later found himself into the addict of Nigeria HIP-POP Music.
