Born and raised in Jos. She attended St. Louis College Jos in Nigeria, where she started out by singing Responsorial Psalms at masses. She was also a member of the senior school choir that released the first graduation album. She is also a law graduate from the University of Jos,Nigeria. Her father was a Disc Jockey while in the university,her mum a member of the choir at 6 and her maternal grand father a player piano. She actively started singing in 2006. Lindsey gets her inspirations from experiences, conversation,songs e.t.c Influences: Stevie Wonder, Roberta Flack, Sade,Sarah Mclachlan, Norah Jones, Eva Cassidy, Lauryn Hill, Corinne Bailey Rae.
