Martins ’STONCE’ Biam was born in Benue State Nigeria; An intensive passion for music which He inherited from his Grand Dad who was a legendary drummer/singer carried him on through his growing up years in a household where ‘doing music’ was not acceptable, at least before a ‘STONCE’ emerged.

Having completed his primary and secondary school at the Mount Saint Gabriel Secondary school in Makurdi; this BSc (ED) Biology Holder from Benue State University moved down to Abuja in 2005 to continue his musical sojourn where he met ‘Blast’ the renowned producer and director who introduced him to other musical producers to kick start his professional carrier in music and instrumentation.

The Name STONCE was given him by his father because of his persevering and hard fighting nature, his background of music is Afro centric with a blend of reggae and hip hop, STONCE produces and also plays the Guitar with amazing dexterity.

He performed at the Hip Hop Award 2009 alongside artiste like Tuface, Modenine, MI, Nice and others, he also took part in the ABUJA COLLABO Song to mark the Nigeria @ 50 Jubilee celebration, featured alongside artistes like Samsong, Morell, Six Foot Plus, Naydo, Pheroshuz, Jesse jags and others. STONCE is currently signed to 9JABEATS ENTERTAINMENT and DEKUMZY ENTERTAINMENT (The production company behind Bracket’s ‘Yori Yori’ and ‘No Time’)
