MY EXPERIENCE GROWING UP - FLAVOUR

Flavour N'abania's mother revealed that she's tremendously proud of her son's accomplishments. She made this clear during the SUPERMOM reality TV show. Mrs. Jane Okorie said she primarily kicked against flavour's career, wanting him to become a medical doctor. She said doing music involved a lot of ugly things which she didn’t want her first son to be a part of.

[color=orange]"Those days, nobody wanted their child to become a musician because they used to drink and they were wayward people. I did not want that for my child. More so, even if he wanted to do music, I said it shouldn't be outside the church but I didn't reckon with what God had in store for him", she exposed.

The high life Star and one of Nigerians finest added to his mother's story, saying that growing up was a rough journey for him and his siblings since his mother's meager earning as a civil servant was all they depended on. He added that they often skipped meals and even peddled pure water on the streets of Enugu till his success kicked in. Flavour said his determination to impress his mother encouraged him. "I saw my mum as my biggest challenge and I was ready to prove her wrong".

Flavour, a musician appreciated beyond the borders of Nigerian has two albums to his name and an ever increasing fan base. He started his promising career with drumming at age 13. Flavour like many other Nigerian Artiste are worthy ambassadors doing us proud and keeping us entertained.
