Uchenna Christian Orji is a Nigerian singer-songwriter. His discography spans between the genres of afro-sounds (amapiano, afrobeats and afropop), and his songwriting skills, which is often inspired by his personal life, has been welcomed by many listeners, with musical inspirations from the likes of Omah Lay, Fireboy and Rema.

Born in Lekki, Lagos in the year 2094, Christian started his music journey back in 2020 whilst still in the secondary school. He broke into the music scene after recording a song with an Android studio app "Bandlab" under his new name titled "Fine (2023 edition)" in March 2023.

The song was co-produced by Legit bossz who later appeared on the track as a featured artist and ranked the first single of his new musical career.

Along with the release of other single tracks "I No Know", "Resolution", and "Ashawo Like Me" and a planned 2-part EP coming up, so far hisusic journey has been going smoothly.

Before going by the name "Lordmoon" Christian has two other artist makes he had to abandon due to copyright issues;

The first one was "Alcohol", this was the first name he went by and he released an EP under this name titled "18 AND COUNTING". This was the first musical work of Christian earlier this year though he had it taken down from stores, due to some issues with his Spotify artist page since he was sharing the same artist name with a Hungarian singer he had to change his brand name to;

"Emoji" again he released two single tracks under this name titled "Shenkes" and "Fake Life" this singles are still available in streaming platforms worldwide, and unfortunately the tracks landed on a wrong artist page on both Spotify and Apple music. After much deliberations he came up with his professional name "Lordmoon".

As an artist from Nigeria, the lyrics of the tracks have to blend with what the society can understand so as to enable them accept the song in first before other international territories will be able to hear the music. This is the reason why the lyrics of Christian's songs are mostly in Nigerian pidgin English, Yoruba and English.

Although he hasn't been nominated for any awards yet or even discovered by big names in the nigerian industry, Christian is still putting in his effort into making his music reach the global space.

Christian completed his secondary school education at "Eritoy College" in the year 2020 at 16 years of age and it was after school life that his music life began.

"Music was not always my calling" said Christan in a discussion with his dad, I wanted to a computer scientist but as time went on I found out that I could juggle both of those careers.

My music life started at my final year in school that was back in 2020, I used to be a close friend to Amah Richard, he was my classmate back then at Eritoy College. He wanted to a musician in fact his favorite artist was "Rema", and we usually laughed at him because he wanted to be a musician in a science class.

I used to accompany him sometimes he would write songs and play for the class to listen, it was a good experience because he was talented also. So I used to be like a little manager to him, he would send me his songs and I would listen and dance to it.

What a lovely experience

After school was over November 2020, we all went separate ways but that thought of music never left me. As others would do k tried my luck to get into the university the following year which was 2021 but it failed. I had to sit at home for a whole year doing nothing.

The next year 2022, I was also at home I wasn't yet in school and then my music instincts kicked in, I didn't have money for studio sessions so I found a way to record on my phone on this app I found "Bandlab" it was hard at first. I had to stop it was later by the early beginning of 2023 I picked up that idea again and then it worked.

So far all my songs gave been recorded on this app with many more to come.
