Born Ojekunle David Sunday, this musical sensation otherwise known as H.O.P an acronym for House O f Peace started his musical quest back in 1996 in the four walls of a church.
This Oyo State protégé who is a diploma holder from the prestigious Ibadan Polythecnic left the shores of his motherland to further polish his other talent in artistise impressions in far away Berlin in Germany where he attended the world famous “Schule der Farbe und der Techniken” Berlin (School of Colour and Technics) named after a German Legend.
His return to Nigeria saw him equipped with a well tuned armour to delve into life’s hurdle.
His genre of music ( Hip Hop, Rock and Afro Hip Hop) nurtured him into dishing out melodious tunes that have been ruling the airwaves. Most notably being a volacanic combination of his musical genre titled PARTY TIME which has a splendid cameo currently running on air.
H.O.P who so much dislikes dishonestly but rather embraces a more cerebral approach to expressing oneself has musical idols in SAVIA NIDO a German Masterpiece and 9ja’s King of Hip Fuji 9ice.
Being a person who does not really follow the normal trend of “ o yes member”; H.O.P prefers carving a niche for himself which is why he coined his own philosophy…”Heaven is the beginning” as against the normal saying that sky is the limit.
He so much enjoys unwinding whenever he is in front of his canvass with a paint brush in hand. So it would be excusable to say his form of relaxation is painting.
He says…’24 hours is not even enough whenever I choose to relax’. :D :D :o
